Paul Watkiss is director of a small climate research consultancy company in the UK. He has over 20 years of experience on the policy, economics and financing of climate change adaptation.  He has extensive expertise in climate adaptation finance, and has led business cases and financial proposals totalling over $150 million, working with International Finance Institutions and Multi-Lateral development banks, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, country governments, the Adaptation Fund and the Green Climate Fund. He is the lead author on the UNEP Adaptation Finance Gap report.
